“6 new tapes.” What’s on them? Find out in October… Shudder has revealed the full official trialer for the next horror anthology offering in this series – it’s titled V/H/S/Halloween with freaky Halloween-themed stories this time. Another six horror film segments are included in this one, which will be streaming in early October. “It’s a spook-tacular anthology the whole family can enjoy…” This is the 8th V/H/S movie, which launched in 2012 and most recently included V/H/S/Beyond just last year. The segments in this collection are by filmmakers Bryan M. Ferguson, Casper Kelly, Micheline Pitt-Norman, R.H. Norman, Alex Ross Perry, Paco Plaza, Anna Zlokovic. A series of Halloween-themed videotapes unleashes twisted, blood-soaked tales, turning trick-or-treat night into a struggle for survival. This looks like it has some truly freaky, insane, messed up horror stories! Reviews from Fantastic Fest are very positive, saying this is a “kick-ass adrenaline pumping treat for horror fans” although it goes really hard on the shock value this time. Check it out below.
